The public catering service of OJSC «MTW» was founded in 1946 to organize meals for workers of Minsk Tractor Works. The first catering facility was canteen No. 44.

Currently, food and trade services for the employees of OJSC «MTW» and city residents are provided by 36 retail facilities, including 11 canteens, a pancake house, a meatball house, a potato house, 14 buffets, 3 shops, 1 gastronomy, 2 bars, a coffee shop, and a restaurant «Kolos». It has its own pastry shop.

Employees can pay for purchases and meals at the catering facilities of OJSC «MTW» in advance of wages using a non-cash payment system by means of permanent passes. A system has been developed to calculate bonuses, electronic gift certificates are issued.

Employees who work the night shift are provided with free food at the enterprise, by food packages. Employees with hazardous working conditions are provided with milk or equivalent food products free of charge.

In spring and summer, in order to comply with the drinking regime, employees of OJSC «MTW» are provided with free bottled mineral water from the own source, located in the plant’s health resort «Rudnya».

Restaurant «Kolos» offers from Tuesday to Friday, from 12.00 to 14.00, set meals at prices from 6.5 to 10 rubles. The restaurant takes pre-orders for banquets, buffets, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and other events from plant employees, other individuals and legal entities.
